How does Broadcast work?

Choose an existing programme or let us help you put one together based on your unique needs.

Tailor your programme

1

Name your programme

You can decide on the name of the programme and on the amount of branding that will go into it from our side.

2

Choose the Experiences

Get access to a library of 100+ engaging Experiences, all underpinned by High Performance Learning and meeting at least one of the Gatsby benchmarks.

3

Select work style

Will there be breakouts in which students will collaborate or only individual assignments?

4

Decide Facilitator location

You can opt to have trained Facilitators on the ground in your school to help out during the Broadcast.

5

Determine devices

You can choose what type of materials will be used to complete the Experience. Will the students work on printed worksheets or on their individual devices?

6

Have a great time

Don't forget the most important aspect – having fun is a part of Broadcast! After we wrap up, we will send you the results and the post-delivery materials.

for the students?

Broadcast allows students to explore their interests, engage with new ideas, and find their passions. By enabling students to think outside the box and expand their entrepreneurial mindset, Broadcast helps set students up for the future.

Go hybrid or fully virtual

If you'd like a hand, you can have our Facilitators with you in the classroom – or you can go completely virtual. Broadcast is suited to every learning environment.

Problem

Work experience is near the top of the list of challenges for careers leaders every single year. Generally stretched thin, careers professionals regularly grapple with providing a large number – often hundreds – of students with work placements.

Solution

Our award-winning three-days virtual programme - The Internship - was conceived as a way to alleviate the challenges faced by many careers advisors. In their placement, they get to explore activities like fundraising, website building, and concept design – always solving tangible, real-life business problems.

What teachers and students are saying about us

Ben Raybould
School Vice Principal @ GEMS Wellington

We're proud to launch such an innovative partnership with 8billionideas, who will work with every student aged 4-18 and our staff. The team from 8billionideas will very much become an extension of our staff body.

Rebecca Tear
Headmistress @ Badminton School

The 8billionideas team helps us unlock education potential in our pupils by connecting them to real and engaging experiences. It doesn’t just give them a short-term buzz but it generates long-term inspiration and ambition in the individual pupils.

Amit
Year 10 Student @ Harrow London

My favourite part of the programme was debating. It helped me better understand how I can calmly and effectively show and present my arguments. I also enjoyed having friendly arguments with my peers, discussing ideas and collaborating as a team.
