INTRODUCING THE TECH TOOLKIT

A complete digital literacy toolkit for primary schools

Today's pupils are growing up in a world shaped by AI, social media and rapidly evolving technology. While schools already do an incredible job teaching Computing and Online Safety, many teachers tell us they want practical resources that help bridge the gap between curriculum knowledge and the real-world digital experiences children encounter every day.

The Tech Toolkit is a practical, classroom-ready programme that helps primary-aged learners develop digital confidence, online safety awareness and future technology skills. Through engaging activities, real-world challenges and guided discussions, pupils learn:

How The Tech Toolkit Works in the Classroom

Save planning time while delivering essential digital and online safety skills. Whether you have five minutes during tutor time or a full lesson available, the The Tech Toolkit helps pupils explore important digital topics through engaging discussions, real-world scenarios and interactive activities.

Flexible classroom delivery

Three simple ways to get started with the tech toolkit

We know that teachers already have enough on their plates. That's why The Tech Toolkit has been designed to be simple, flexible, and ready to use straight away.

Start a discussion

Use a card as a lesson starter or form-time activity. Read the card together, explore the "Did You Know?" fact, and then challenge students to discuss the scenario on the back.

Team challenges

Split students into small groups and give each group a different card. Ask them to:
- Research the topic further
- Create a short presentation
- Design a poster
- Teach the concept to the rest of the class

Explore future pathways

Use the cards as a gateway into conversations about technology, careers, and the future. Students can explore:
- Which technologies interest them most
- What future jobs they might enjoy
- How digital skills connect to real-world opportunities

Also suitable for PSHE, enrichment, digital literacy programmes, tutor time, STEM activities.
